Ali Gohar, works
as a Program Officer with Oxfam on ending honour killing. He has a degree in
International Relations from Quaid-E-Azam University, Pakistan. For thirteen
years, he served as Additional Commissioner in the Social Welfare Cell for
Afghan refugees--a project of (UNHCR). During his tenure, he sought to make
public the plight of street children among Afghan refugees. He wrote two
Pushto plays for Pakistan Television Corporation on HIV awareness & Domestic
Violence. Recently he has completed a Master's degree in Conflict
Transformation as a Fulbright Scholar from Eastern Mennonite University in
Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA. Ali Gohar has co-written "The Little Book of
Restorative Justice" in Pak- Afghan context, originally authored by Prof.
Howard Zehr. He was also instrumental in the development of a peace story and
song, "In your song, I hear my voice," sung in twenty languages with

Hassan
M Yousufzai
has a Master's degree in political Science from Peshawar University and a
Master's Degree in Conflict Transformation from the Eastern Mennonite University
Harrisonburg VA, USA. As a government official in the District Management Group,
he has experience of interaction with communities in conflict particularly
during his service as Assistant Commissioner at Matta (Swat), Chitral and
Assistant Political Agent in Bajaur Agency. Presently, he is a volunteer
associate of Just Peace International inc. Recently he completed an assignment
with the Asian Development bank as a Capacity Development Specialist to support
the Decentralization Support Program of the Government of Pakistan.
